Spotlight on Chemical Anchoring and Epoxy Products

In this week’s blog, we’ll be focusing on our family of chemical anchors and epoxy products, which includes products from leading brands such Megapoxy, Ramset, and Sika, like the ever-popular Sikaflex Pro Adhesive Silicone.
Ramset Products
Established in Australia over sixty years ago, Ramset manufactures a leading range of drilling, anchoring, and fixing products to customers around the world. Many of their products are developed and manufactured in Australia and all products are rigorously tested for safety and performance.
One of our highest-selling offerings from Ramset is Ramset Ultrafix Plus. This is a great general purpose, fast-setting fixer of marine-grade polyester. Ultrafix Plus comes in a standard caulking-gun sized cartridge and includes two nozzles for ease of application. This is suitable for use on hollow bricks and concrete blocks, and can be reliably used on flooded holes.
Megapoxy Products
Megapoxy is Australia’s top selling manufacturer of epoxy resin adhesives, and their products have been used throughout the mining, civil engineering, electrical and manufacturing industries for over thirty years. Megapoxy 36 is a two-component, gunnable epoxy used for bonding reflective markers to roads and concrete. Designed for easy application with a separately sold application gun, this is considered the industry standard in AUS/NZ.
Our range of spreadable epoxy from Megapoxy includes the high strength, two-component Megabond, ideal for bonding natural stone and tiles to all masonry surfaces and suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Established by Kaspar Winkler in 1910, Sika is a world-renowned manufacturer of adhesives and sealants based in Switzerland. For over a century they have been supplying the global construction, manufacturing, and engineering industries with a range of innovative products.
The 300ml, fast-curing Sikaflex-1 is one of our top sellers. Suitable for all grades of reinforced steel, concrete, and hollow and solid masonry, Sikaflex adhesive can be used in low temperatures, has a high load-bearing capacity, and is totally styrene-free.
We also stock Sikadur Epoxy Resin and Adhesive Mortar in 6kg kits. The solvent-free epoxy resin is suitable for use on a wide variety of materials in both dry and damp conditions. It can repair mortar or adhesive for materials including brick, stone, concrete, ceramics, fibrous cement, and steel, among others. Highly resistant to chemicals and abrasive wear, this is a fantastic general structural adhesive.
